About the event
From the Town Centre, we will trek along the River Wey, pass historic buildings, meander through ancient woodland and enjoy stunning views from our surrounding hills.
Start: 9am so please be there beforehand to check in
The Walk will finish at the Keep Pub in Castle Street where we can take advantage of some of their lovely home cooked foods as well as sampling some local ales or one of the many gins they have to offer!
This walk is quite easy going but has got a couple of short rises of which one is quite steep but it will be taken and an easy pace.
Travel Note: Sydenham Road Car Park and Tunsgate Car Park are within 2 minutes walk of the meetup and The March Hare is roughly 15 minutes walk from Guildford Train Station.

Finishing time for the walk is 13:00 hours at the very latest but please do note that depending on the pace of the whole group this could be finished earlier.
General Notes: Bring with you suitable clothes for the weather as well as comfortable walking shoes/boots.
Dogs are welcome on this hike but must be kept on a lead.
Cost of hike - Free hike but donations are welcome, this can be done at point of booking.
