Description of walk: the walk starts at Cartbridge, Send, and heads upstream to Triggs Lock, then cutting across to Sutton Green and St Edward’s Catholic Church and back to the starting point via footpaths. There will be plenty of stops in which David will give historical details of the navigation as well as pointing out other features including its rich natural history.

Any specific walk / condition issues: Suitable for children who are interested in local history. You will be walking on the towpath and footpaths and boots are advised if the ground is wet. There will be some uneven ground and a couple stiles to negotiate.

Socialised dogs on a lead also welcome.
